A Pen By Any Other Name Is Not the Same
Having loved government-issued pens for…well, many years…I was surprised to learn that they were mandated by Congress under the 1938 Wagner-O’Day Act to be bought from firms employing blind Americans. And that they must meet specifications that run for pages about how long they last and what temperatures they’ll work in, among other things.
No wonder I like these so much. They are being replaced by commercial brands and may someday no longer be available.
