Administrative Careers
You don’t have to be a scientist to contribute to improving the health of the nation. An administrative career with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Intramural Research Program (IRP) can be the most rewarding government job. NIH employees in administrative functions, such as budget, human resources, training, and management, support the scientific mission of the NIH.
To support the rich scientific and clinical research environment of the IRP, we need people possessing a wide variety of skills and talents to fill positions in the following categories:
There are four main ways of searching for open NIH positions:
- Use the search box on the Jobs@NIH Web site
- Search USAJOBS, the official job site of the US Federal Government
- Visit the Office of Intramural Training and Education’s Jobs Web page
- Visit the job-related Web sites of Individual Institutes and Centers
