President Joseph Biden met with scientists at NIH’s Vaccine Research Center (VRC) on February 11, 2021, and then gave a virtual pep talk to NIH staff thanking them for their hard work and outstanding contributions in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. “On behalf of a grateful nation, I want to thank you and your families for your work and sacrifice,” he said. During his remarks, he also talked about his plans to expand the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.
