Every year, roughly 15,000 children and adolescents in the United States are diagnosed with cancer. The Childhood Cancer Data Initiative, launched by NCI in 2019 in response to a White House call to action, aims to do something audacious: Learn from every child diagnosed with cancer in the United States and do so by turning fragments of laboratory, genomic, and patient-reported data into a connected, national research framework.
