CHTN-COORD CHTN Coordinators
This listserve will be used by the CHTN Divisional Coordinators and Central Coordinator to communicate with each other regarding issues needed to be discussed between the coordinators only.
The Marketing Customer Relations Subcommittee MCRS listserve function is to aid in the communications between the MCRS members. The MCRS is responsible for the outreach to the research community as well as manages and maintains CHTN customer relations. Through the MCRS listserve, the subcommittee will be able to communicate efficiently and effectively throughout it s efforts to increase the visibility of the CHTN in the research community and ensure customer satisfaction.
The Operations Procedure Subcommittee listserv will be used for all communications between the OPS members. The OPS is responsible for the development and maintaing of CHTN Cooperative Human Tissue Network operations and procedures.
CHTN-SOW CHTN Standards Working Group
The Cooperative Human Tissue Network CHTN is an NCI-supported tissue procurement resource for research. The CHTN Standards Working Group SWG is a subgroup of the CHTN Informatics Subcommittee that develops, maintains and harmonizes the use of the CHTN disease vocabulary and common data elements. In addition, the SWG provides recommendations for adoption with regards to NCI Best Practices, and develops and maintains the documentation for standards for the CHTN Manual of Operations, reports and funding proposals.
CHTN-TECH-GROUP CHTN IT Technical Working Group
The Cooperative Human Tissue Network (CHTN), an NCI-supported resource to procure tissues for research created Technical Working Group (TWG) within its Informatics Subcommittee. It includes technical individuals from each of the CHTN divisions and its mission is to imrpove the informatics within the CHTN. The TWG meets during the CHTN face-to-face meetings, participates in all of the CHTN Informatics Subcommittee calls and more recently, participates in weekly conference calls. At this time, the TWG is working together to improve and enhance the existing CHTN investigator database. A listserve for the TWG would enhance the weekly communications of this group.
CHTN-TISSUE Cooperative Human Tissue Network - Tissue
The chtn-tissue listserve will be used by the divisional coordinators and divisional investigator coordinators to communicate and query and the network on the availability of specific biospecimens. Not only will this listserve allow the coordinators to respond to potential investigators on the availability of specimens, it will also help the CHTN build it s library of information regarding the availability of specific specimens
