The Cooperative Human Tissue Network CHTN is an NCI-supported tissue procurement resource for research. The CHTN Standards Working Group SWG is a subgroup of the CHTN Informatics Subcommittee that develops, maintains and harmonizes the use of the CHTN disease vocabulary and common data elements. In addition, the SWG provides recommendations for adoption with regards to NCI Best Practices, and develops and maintains the documentation for standards for the CHTN Manual of Operations, reports and funding proposals.
